On June 2, 1989, he married Kathryn Kocian in Waco, and together they enjoyed a loving family. Marvin worked at several institutions in the Waco area including Texas State Technical College and the City of Waco. He enjoyed building and remodeling several homes in the Waco area. Marvin had an interest in classic and antique cars, and he found joy in tending to his yard and engaging in many building projects. He cherished the outdoors, loved to travel, and relished time spent at the beach. Above all, he treasured moments with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As we remember Marvin, we reflect on the lessons he imparted of kindness and perseverance.
