Marlene Wilkinson

Marlene (Kyselka) Wilkinson, age 90, of Haltom City, Texas, passed away early Thursday morning, December 12, 2024 at West Rest Haven.

Per her request, no services will be held. 

Marlene was born July 8, 1934 in West, the daughter of Lee and Rosie (Slovak) Kyselka. She was a graduate of West High School. Marlene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She worked alongside her husband, John as a secretary and bookkeeper for Wilkinson Paint Company until she retired in 2000. Marlene enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, and going to the Winstar sports book to play the horses. She loved taking care of her dogs. Her nieces and nephews were so special to her and she looked forward to spending time with them and taking them to all the parks in Haltom City and out to eat. 

Marlene is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Herman, Willie, Joe, and Edwin Kyselka; her sisters, Christine Wyninger, Eileen Evanich, and Rosalie Eastwood; an infant brother; and nephews, Randy Eastwood and Freddie Kyselka.

Survivors include her nephews, Nicky Jo Eastwood and wife Janice, David Wyninger, and Glenn Eastwood and wife Janie; her nieces, Linda Arieno and husband David, and Glenda Jonston and husband Bill; her great nieces, Brandy Janek and husband Mark, Courtney Breitkreutz and husband Josh, Candace Eastwood, Tracy Matus and husband John Paul, and Dana Eastwood; a great nephew, Shawn Eastwood and wife Jenny; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue in Waco.
