Marilou Littleton

Marilou Littleton, age 75, of Gholson, passed away late Saturday evening, January 12, 2019 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Carl Freeto officiating. Burial will follow at Gholson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Marilou was born October 6, 1943 in Rogers, Arkansas the daughter of Hollis and Mabel (Craig) Kilby. She was a 1961 graduate of Pineville High School in Pineville, Missouri. On July 24, 1963 she was united in marriage to Brian R. Littleton in Miami, Oklahoma. Brian preceded her in death on March 9, 2012. Marilou worked for the Gholson Independent School District for many years. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Gholson and enjoyed attending Lake Shore United Methodist Church with her friends. Marilou enjoyed taking trips with her daughters, going to Shreveport gambling, attending musical shows in Granbury, shopping for antique glass, fishing and being with her friends. She loved spending time with her friends and was loved by all who knew her. Marilou is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and a sister. Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly Jo Scott and husband Derek of Franklin and Angela Renee Goates and husband Reese of Gholson; grandchildren, Deven Scott, Brittany Dajda and husband Zach, Derek Scott Jr., Kyle Guthrie, and Zachary Guthrie; two great-granddaughters, Miranda and Elizabeth Scott; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Deven Scott, Derek Scott Jr., Zach Guthrie, Kyle Guthrie, Zach Dajda, Tim Kilby, Darren Kilby and Mitch Kilby. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
