Maria Angelica Tellez, age 34, of West, died early Wednesday morning, March 9, 2005 near West due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Deacon Jessie C. Garza. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Maria was born August 22, 1970 in San Miguel, Allende, Mexico, the daughter of Santos and Sirila (Rodriguez) Tapia. She attended schools in San Miguel. Maria married Miguel Tellez on December 28, 1988 in San Miguel. She was a housewife and homemaker. Maria was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include her husband of sixteen years, Miguel of West; two sons, Daniel Aaron Tellez and David Tellez, both of West; five brothers, Siquio Tapia of Tyler, Miguel Tapia, Martin Tapia and Beto Tapia, all of Mexico, and Manuel Tapia of Indiana; one sister, Carmen Tapia, of Indiana; her mother-in-law, Marcelina Hernandez of Mexico; a sister-in-law, Graciela Hernandez and her husband Andrez; two brothers-in-law, Donaciano Tellez and Fausto Tellez; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Memorials may be made to the family to help with Aaron and David's medical expenses.
