Margaret Smith

Margaret Ann Smith, age 78, of Aquilla, passed away early Saturday morning, November 25, 2023 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Gholson, with Rev. James Stevens officiating.

Margaret was born November 29, 1944 in Houston, the daughter of Kelly and Helen (Northcutt) Donaldson. She attended schools in Gholson and West. Margaret enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Russell Kelly Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Helena Taylor of Gholson; a daughter-in-law, Helen Northrup of Aquilla; her grandchildren, Angelina McNabb and husband Devin, Dustin Taylor and Susie Childs, Lilly Taylor, Jacob Smith and wife Kay, Nathan Smith, and Mason Smith; eight great grandchildren; five sisters; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice-Community Healthcare of Texas.
