Marcille Cooper, age 62, of Waco, passed away early Saturday morning, January 13, 2007 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center Chapel in Waco, with Rev. Leon Hataway officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Marcille was born March 5, 1944 in Waco, the adopted daughter of Robert E. and Lilliam (Bryan) McMahan. She was raised in Ft. Worth and was a graduate of Arlington Heights High School. She later received her medical certification from McLennan Community College. Marcille worked for Lake Shore Village for over five years. She was a former member of the Mosheim Baptist Church. She was very much a people person who loved spending time with family and friends. She is receded in death by her parents and a son, Randy Cooper, who passed away in 1971. Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Burns of Waco and Tonya Mitchell of Weatherford; a son, Robert Burns of Waco; a sister, Melanie Clarke and her husband Don of Rockport; two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
