Lucile Watkins Talbert, age 93, of San Antonio, formerly of Ft. Worth, passed away Monday, February 14, 2005 in San Antonio. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Ft. Worth. Lucile was born August 1, 1911 in Bunger, TX. the daughter of Grover and Julia Watkins. She moved to Ft. Worth at an early age and graduated from Poly High School. She married Clyde Rotan Talbert who precedes her in death. She was a retired employee of the City of Ft. Worth Water Dept. Lucile was a very talented seamstress and loved to sew, knit, and crochet. Survivors include her son, Grover "Tim" Talbert and his wife Cherie of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Lea Talbert Kee and her husband Dr. James Kee of Naperville, IL and Timothy "Chip" Talbert and his wife Jennifer of Castle Rock, CO; two great-grandchildren, Robert "Robbie" Kee and Kellie Kee; two brothers, Hogan Watkins and his wife Edith of Ft. Worth and Burt Watkins and his wife Flo Ella of Harvey, LA; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. The family appreciates the beauty of flowers, but suggests memorials be made to San Pedro Presbyterian Church, 14900 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78232 for those who desire.
