Louis C. Gajdosik

Louis C. Gajdosik, age 55, of West, passed away Tuesday morning, June 13, 2017 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Deacon Ronnie Sykora officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Louis was born June 29, 1961 in Waco, the son of Louis J. and Margaret "Margie" (Chudej) Gajdosik. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from West High School in 1979. On June 25, 1983, he was united in marriage to Pamela Ferguson in West. Louis worked for Dameron Oil Company, and Bold Springs Tire and Lube, both in West and Advance Auto Parts in Bellmead. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Louis was also a member of KJT #31 in West. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, dove hunting, and woodworking. Louis enjoyed taking care of his dogs, Fritoe, Tiny, Precious and Onslow. He especially loved spending time with his family and grand puppy, Schatzi. Louis is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margie Rejcek and Cathy Kilgore; his father-in-law, Fred L. Ferguson; and brother-in-law, Michael Kilgore. Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Pam Gajdosik of West; his daughter, Amanda Gajdosik of Houston; mother-in-law, Betty Ferguson; brothers-in-law, Eugene Rejcek and Dennis Ferguson and wife Melanie; nephews, Shawn Rejcek, Michael D. Kilgore and wife Daniela, Jeremy Ferguson and wife Jennifer, and Joseph Ferguson and wife Chelsea; great nieces and nephews, Jaynie, Jentry, Harper, Hayden and Holton; and many other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Edwin Prnka, Ernest Kutscherousky, Lance Allen, Dennis Ferguson, Gary Culverhouse and Daniel Webre. Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Rejcek, Michael D. Kilgore, Jeremy Ferguson, Joseph Ferguson, Eugene Rejcek, Dennis Kolar and Darrell McCartney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
