Lola Warren

July 1, 1926 — June 14, 2022

Lola Mae Warren, age 95, of Fort Worth, passed away Tuesday morning, June 14, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Crowley, with Jack and John Warren officiating. Click on the link for LIVE STREAM of the service. Private burial will take place at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Ft. Worth. Lola was born July 1, 1926 in Valley Mills, the daughter of John and Jimmie (Mitchell) Robinson. She was a graduate of Kopperl High School and Clifton College. On June 19, 1946 she was united in marriage to Bill Warren in Ft. Worth. Bill preceded her in death on November 7, 2020. Lola was a member of Southwayside Baptist Church in Ft. Worth. She was a mother and homemaker. Lola and Bill served their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as missionaries, spending many years in Brazil. Lola enjoyed journaling, singing, going on cruises, going to the beach in Brazil, and hosting gatherings in her home. She was passionate about her family, attending as many of their activities as she could. Lola is also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bill Warren Jr.; a son-in-law, Kurt Parr; and her siblings, Lucille Carlisle, Willie Hill, Inez Carlisle, Frank Robinson, Louis Robinson, David Robinson, Jarrett Robinson, and Nell Gutkowski. Survivors include her children, Jack and Beverly Warren of Crowley, John and Cathi Warren of Bella Vista, AR, Mimi Parr of Ft. Worth, and Jaynanne and Steve Brown of Crowley; a former daughter-in-law, Julie Warren Cook and Sam Cook of Burleson; 19 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Jarrett Warren, Nathan Warren, Caleb Warren, Tim Warren, Steven Brown, Cody Brown, Christopher Parr and Matthew Parr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Healthcare in Ft. Worth.
