Linda McWilliams, age 77, of Waco, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at her residence. A celebration of her life will be held starting at 3:00 p.m. and throughout the day Saturday May 8 at Mynar's Bar in West. Linda was born November 8, 1943 in Tours, the daughter of Felix and Hattie (Uptmore) Mynar. She attended St. Martin's Catholic School in Tours and was a 1963 graduate of West High School. On October 26, 1963 she was united in marriage to Ronnie McWilliams in Tours. Ronnie preceded her in death on March 12, 2019. Linda worked for Lorch Manufacturing in West, Lake Air Pools in Waco for 21 years, and was a manager and bookkeeper for Waco Gastroenterology Associates. After her father died, Linda and her brother Rick owned and operated Mynar's Bar in West for many years. Linda enjoyed reading, playing solitaire, drinking her Dr. Pepper, gambling, watching her Lifetime Movies, and pampering herself by having her hair and nails done at Salon Posh. She loved spending time with her family and seeing them happy, especially her granddaughter and great granddaughter. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Todd Blanchard; and her nephew, Cody Mac Mynar. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Blanchard Padgett and husband Brian of Hillsboro; a granddaughter, Lindsey Jae Blanchard and husband Cody Murphy of Peoria; a great granddaughter, Raelyn Grace Murphy of Peoria; her sister, Ruby Gerik and husband Arnold Jr. of Valley Mills; her brothers, Felix V. Mynar, Jr. of Waco and Ricky Mynar of Chalk Bluff; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waco Humane Society or to the charity of your choice.
