Lillie Hromadka, age 93, of West, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 24, 2018 at West Rest Haven in West. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Marys Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Darrell Kostiha and Msgr. Isidore Rozycki as celebrants. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Lillie was born July 7, 1924 in West, the daughter of Joe and Mary (Marek) Mynar. She attended St. Mary's School. On December 27, 1948, she was united in marriage to Raymond J. Hromadka in West. Raymond preceded her in death on October 1, 2010. They owned and operated the Cottonwood Store for 39 years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of the Assumption. She was also a member of the SPJST Lodge #6 in Cottonwood, KJT Society #11, St. Anne's Altar Society and the RVOS Lodge #46. Lillie enjoyed cooking, watching EWTN, praying the rosary daily, gardening, canning, holiday family gatherings, spending time with her sisters and visiting with friends at Cottonwood Store. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Lillie is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, Joe, Frankie and Edward Mynar; and sisters, Rosie Urbish, Mary Lander, Frances Chase and Annie Mynar. Survivors include her sons, Raymond Joe Hromadka, Jr. and wife Janice of West, James Hromadka and wife Charlotte and Larry Hromadka and wife Cindy, all of Penelope; daughters, Lillie Marie Mynar and husband Bennie of Abbott and Deborah Hromadka and husband Ben Fish of Leesburg; sisters, Willie Mae Cervenka, Agnes Atkins and Josephine Smith; grandchildren, Stephanie Matus and husband Mike, Bennie Mynar, Jr. and wife Cristy, Becki Price and husband Mike, Stacie Davis and husband Zach, Raymond J. Hromadka III and wife Jennifer, Craig Hromadka and wife Mary, Kayla Seghi and husband Albert, Jimbo Hromadka Jr. and wife Megan, Amy Keel and husband Heath, Ashley Hromadka, Alicia Hromadka, Larry Hromadka Jr. and Brandon Duncan; great grandchildren, Mason, Marissa, Brent, Kenna, Luke, Tanner, Kate, Cole, Landree, Jase, Madyson, McKenzie, Camden, Kennedy, Perry, Maren and Kadon; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Bennie Mynar Jr., Raymond Hromadka III, Craig Hromadka, Jimbo Hromadka Jr., Larry Hromadka Jr., Mike Matus, Mike Price, Zach Davis, Heath Keel, Albert Seghi and Brandon Duncan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
