Lillian Girard Crawford

Lillian (Girard) Crawford, age 66, of Irvington, Alabama, formerly of Waco, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Saad Healthcare in Mobile, Alabama. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Channing Fell officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Lillian was born July 26, 1953 in Lubbock, the daughter of Leo and Helen (Matus) Girard. She attended St. Mary's School in Waco and was a 1972 graduate of Waco High School. She worked for Miller Family Steakhouse in Waco prior to marring the love of her life, Donald Crawford on July 10, 1981. Lillian enjoyed crafts, polka music, traveling, drinking margaritas with friends, coming home for Westfest, visiting casinos, playing slot machines, watching soap opera's, and was an avid Baylor Bear and Dallas Cowboy Fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her son and nieces and nephews. Lillian is also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert "Bob" Girard. Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, Donald Crawford of Irvington, AL; her son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Megan Crawford of Irvington, AL; her siblings, Joe Miller and wife Pam, Mary Ann Moody and husband Ron, Johnny Girard and wife Linda, Linda Henry and husband Jack, Tommy Girard, Leo "Sonny" Girard and wife Cindy, Billy Girard and wife Glenda, and Theresa "Terry" Avants; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Justin Girard, Lance Avants, Shane Avants, Jeremy Girard, Gary Henry and Shannon Girard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Green Family Camp or St. Jude's Hospital.
