Lillian Elsa Pack, age 88, of Waco, passed away late Sunday evening, February 3, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Clear Lake. Graveside services will be held 2:00 Friday at Gerald Cemetery near Leroy, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Mrs. Pack was born September 10, 1924 in Waco, the daughter of Leopold and Charlotte (Altus) Jantz. She attended schools in West and was a graduate of West High School prior to attending 4-C Business College. On July 31, 1948 she was united in marriage to Charles Edward Pack in Waco. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1999. Lillian was a bookkeeper for The Credit Bureau and Educators Credit Union until retiring to a life of travel with Charles. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Lillian is also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Leona Frieda Jantz. Survivors include two sons, Steven Pack and wife Tara of Alvin and Don Pack and wife Sandra of Pineland; a daughter, Jolaine Elrod and husband Harold of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jeff Pack, Jennifer Pack, Michael Pack, Wendee Elrod, Devin Elrod, and Dakota Pack; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
