Levi Michelle Johnson

Levi Michelle Johnson, age 11, of West, passed away early Sunday morning, February 6, 2022 at Cook's Children Medical Center in Ft. Worth. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Deacon Ronnie Sykora officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Levi was born January 8, 2011 in Temple, the daughter of Ricky Johnson. Levi enjoyed playing possum when she didn't want to be disturbed, listening to music, someone playing the piano, her Disney movies, and George Strait Fan. Levi was a strong fighter with a fiesty personality and so full of life. Her favorite time to be in the hospital was at Christmas when all of the beautiful lights were put out. She could light up a room with her smile and touched so many people's lives. Her beautiful hair that her family and nurses loved to braid reminded them of Repunzel or a little princess. Levi was known as "baby girl" and this angel will surely be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Levi is preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Elsie Josephine Gaidusek and Barbara Sue Johnson. Survivors include her father, Richard Derek Johnson and wife Megan of Woodway; grandparents, Roger Johnson and wife Donna of West; stepsister, Brianna Charles; stepbrother, Nathan Rupert; uncle, Dale Johnson and fiance Christina Morrill; aunt, Emily Bohlen; great grandparents, Roy Johnson and wife Betty; cousins, Casey, Colton and Caitlin, and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are her nurses Jill Jenkins, Melissa Johnson, Terri Gaidusek, Amber Tendell, Elizabeth Nyabida, Andramna McFarland, and Jen Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Children's Hospital or Ronald McDonald House of Ft. Worth.
