Larry Young

Larry Young, age 62, of Elm Mott, passed away Sunday evening, September 9, 2012 at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Joshua Miller officiating. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. Friday until service time. Larry was born February 23, 1950 in Corsicana, the son of Burton L. and Hallie (Hollingsworth) Young. He attended school in West. Larry served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On August 27, 1988 he was united in marriage to Donna Boney in Waco. Larry was a self employed carpenter. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post. Larry enjoyed listening to country music, and especially spending time with his family. Survivors include his beloved wife of 24 years, Donna Young of Elm Mott; three sons, Heath Young and wife Anna, Jason Reid and Dillon Young; a daughter, Amy Godfrey and husband Jeff; two brothers, William Lester Young and wife Barbara and Gary Dean Young; two sisters, Judy Grier and husband Dock and Diane Davis and husband Richard; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
