Larry Gene Jackson

Larry Gene Jackson, age 55, of West, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2011, at his residence. Per Larry's request, no services will be held. Larry was born on April 5, 1956 in Ft. Worth, the son of Jerry and Betty (Turner) Jackson. He attended Ft. Worth schools. On March 23, 2005, he was united in marriage to Hana (Zivec) Marek. Larry worked for Patrick industries in Waco for over 10 years. He was a free spirit, enjoyed playing his guitar, bar-b-queing, and writing songs and poems. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sharon Jackson; and two step-sons; Donald Ray Marek and Jeffrey Michael Marek. Survivors include his wife Hana of West; three step-sons, Robert "Bert" Marek of Lewisville, and Michael Marek and Garry Marek, both of West; two step-daughters, Lisa Click and husband Paul of Savannah, GA and Nadine Johnson and husband Randy of Eddy; a brother, Jerry Jackson, Jr. and wife Sandra of Haslett; a half-brother, Doug Haralson and friend Tammy of Ft. Worth; a half-sister, Tony McWilliams and husband Justin of Ft. Worth; 12 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
