Larry Edward Bajer

Larry Edward Bajer, age 58, of Abbott, passed away Monday afternoon, June 29, 2015 in Abbott. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Larry was born July 13, 1956 in Waco, the son of Frank and Catherine (Flaherty) Bajer. He was a 1975 graduate of Abbott High School and received an associate degree in Diesel Mechanics from Texas State Technical College in Waco. Larry worked for Steakley Chevrolet and Duncan Trucking Company and has been self employed since 1988. He was a member of Knights of Columbus of West. Larry enjoyed watching Star Trek and westerns, fishing, playing dominoes and poker and collecting arrowheads. He loved mowing his grass and spending time with his family. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marilyn Bajer. Survivors include a son, Adam Bajer of Abbott; a daughter, Amy Delk and husband Michael of Andover, NJ; two brothers, Frank J. "Butch" Bajer III and David Bajer and wife Kathy; a sister, Linda Kaluza and husband Ronnie; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Abbott Volunteer Fire Department or the charity of your choice.
