Kristi Lynn Marsh

Kristi Lynn Marsh, age 42, of West, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 1, 2013 at Providence Health Center in Waco. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Kristi was born August 27, 1970 to her birth Mother, Bip Mills Nauta and adoptive parents, Robert William Schiemenz and Virginia Kallus. She attended West High School and Texas State Technical College, where she received a degree in Computer Programming. She was a front desk manager for the Czech Inn for five years, and had also worked at the Czech Stop, Family Dollar, and the Village Bakery, all in West. Kristi also worked for Equipment Depot in Waco. She loved to celebrate all holidays, including birthdays and Christmas. She also enjoyed cooking, camping and spending time with family. Kristi is preceded in death by a son, David Wayne Haddix. Survivors include her birth mother, Bip Nauta, and husband Bernie of Forth Worth; adoptive parents, Robert and Irene Schiemenz of Gholson and Virginia Kallus of Waco; three sons, Daniel Haddix and friend Allison Jares, Ernie Marsh Jr. and Elton Marsh, all of West; two daughters, Tammy Sutterfield and husband Michael of West, Joanna Smith and husband Greg of College Station; four sisters, Amy Shaw and Jamie Stone, both of Arlington, Terrie Griffith of Waco and Paula Griffith of Reserve, LA; six grandchildren, Brianna, Jailynn, Elizabeth, Emily, Cristina, and Elton Jr.; her favorite uncle, Mark Schiemenz; her special friend, Earnie Marsh Sr.; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Earnie Marsh Jr., Elton Marsh, Michael Sutterfield, Ernie Wilson, Arthur Schiemenz Jr., Mark Schiemenz, and Phillip Webre. Memorials may be made to West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
