Julius J. Hubik

Julius Hubik, age 72, of West, passed away Thursday morning, January 2, 2014 at his residence. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, with Rev. Michael Ajewole as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Mr. Hubik was born February 13, 1941 in West, the son of Frank and Mary Ann (Klodginski) Hubik. He attended St. Mary's School and was a 1959 graduate of West High School. He received an associate degree from the National School of Aeronautics in Kansas City, MO. Julius was a supply clerk for T.S.T.C. for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. He enjoyed raising ducks, fishing, and watching baseball and football. Survivors include many cousins including Dan Foyt of West and several other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are David Foyt and Danny Foyt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Disaster Relief Fund.
