Julie (Warren) Gideon, age 57, of Haslet, passed away late Thursday evening, October 10, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Memorial Services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Aurora Baptist Church in Rhome, with Pastor Jimmy Withers officiating. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Julie was born December 14, 1961 in Clifton, the daughter of Joyce (Herring) and the late Burney Warren, Jr. She was raised and attended schools in Meridian and was a 1980 graduate of Meridian High School. On May 11, 1985 she was united in marriage to Jerry Gideon in Arlington. Julie was a faithful member of the Aurora Baptist Church and an active participant in Bible Study Fellowship, for over 25 years. She was a teller supervisor for Pinnacle Bank in Fort Worth for many years. Julie enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, and decorating her home. She especially loved spending time with and taking care of her family. Survivors include her beloved husband of 34 years, Jerry Gideon of Haslet; her mother, Joyce Warren Benham of Hamilton; her sons, Jerritt Gideon of Round Rock and James Gideon of Ft. Worth; a sister, Suzan Ladd; a brother, Joseph Warren and his wife, Susan; a sister-in-law, Paula Manzella and her husband, Mike; brothers-in-law, Roy Gideon and his wife, Elaine and Charles Gideon and his wife, Karen; a niece, Katherine Ladd; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aurora Baptist Church Missions.
