Judy Svrcek, age 77, of West, passed away late Wednesday night, December 30, 2020 at Providence Hospital in Waco. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Very limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services. LIVE STREAM of the service will be provided. Judy was born May 25, 1943 in Haskell, the daughter of Benjamin and Elnora (Snapka) Wilde. She attended school in Abbott and was a graduate of West High School. On August 27, 1960 she was united in marriage to Daniel "Zero" Svrcek in West. Zero preceded her in death on August 9, 2019. Judy was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was also a member of KJZT St. Ludmila Society #11. She worked for West Drug Store for over 20 years. Judy enjoyed having dinner with her sisters, taking her dog out to the country to run around, gardening, working puzzles, feeding her birds, and watching NCIS and figure skating. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Cathy Bajer and husband David of Penelope, Stephen Svrcek and wife Kathy of West, Sherri Harwell and husband Andy of Woodway, Cindy Eastty and husband Derek of Austin, and David Svrcek and wife Heather of Manchaca; grandchildren, Jamie Neal and husband Allen, Kelly Deramee and husband Chris, Jessica Zajicek and husband Joey, Kyle Svrcek, Jacob Harwell, Meggie Harwell, Devon Eastty, and Jordan Eastty; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Neal, Bailey Neal, Miley Zajicek, Raelyn Harwell, Ethan Deramee and Ayden Deramee; her mother, Elnora Uptmore; siblings, Robert Wilde and wife Sheila, Jeanette Herrington, Doris Hill and husband Burl, Eddie Wilde and wife Cyn, and Rick Wilde and wife Heidi; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Ambulance Association or the charity of your choice.
