Juanita Lovecky

Juanita (Smith) Lovecky, age 81, of West, passed away Sunday morning, October 23, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with the Rev. Gene Kotrla and Jenifer Wagley officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lovecky was born on September 22, 1924 in Birome, the daughter of Nathan Earl and Lottie Martha (Ganze) Smith. She attended school in Hoen and West. On December 18, 1945 in West, she was united in marriage to John Steve Lovecky. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1988. She was a homemaker and loved sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends. Juanita was an active member of the First United Church of West and a member of S.P.J.S.T. Lodge No. 6 in Cottonwood. Her brother, James E. Smith, also precedes her in death. Survivors include a son, Larry E. Lovecky and wife Pam of Waco; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers are Robert Pustejovsky, Johnny Slay, James Schlemmer, Randy Mitchell, Kenneth Watson, and Bobby Avants. Memorials may be made to First United Church of West.
