Joshua Lee Zarecor, age 34, of West, passed away early Sunday morning, October 27, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Joshua was born February 5, 1979 in West, the son of Bill Reeves and Michelle "Shelly" Harris. He was a graduate of West High School and attended graphic design classes at ITT Technical Institute in Waco. He served his country with the United States Army. Joshua worked as a security guard for several area companies, was a cook for Outwest Bar and Grill in West and a manager for the IHOP in Waco. He was known for his kind heart, his ability to help anyone in need, and will forever be missed by all who loved him. Joshua enjoyed cooking, playing pool, being outdoors, and especially loved being with family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Chloe Lynn Zarecor of Gholson; his mother and step-father, Shelly Wells and Ray Glatter; his father, Bill Reeves; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Carolyn Harris; a sister, Donna McCall; brothers, Shanan Zarecor and Dillan Lambright; step sister, Sara Glatter; step brother, Thomas Glatter and wife Angela; an aunt, Rebecca Young, a cousin, Cassie Young; nieces, Cheyenne Zarecor and Jadyn Lambright; and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Diaster Relief Fund or to the West volunteer Ambulance Association.
