Johnnie Charles Hanak, age 17, of Burleson, passed away Thursday June 15, 2006 in Burleson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Dr. John Crowder officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Johnnie was born on April 27, 1989 in Ft. Worth, the son of Benjamin and Teresa (Berry) Hanak. He was a student at Zion Academy. Johnnie was to be a graduating senior in 2007 with an ultimate goal of enlisting in the U. S. Marines after graduation. He was health conscience and stayed fit with various exercise programs.
His mother, Teresa Corine Hanak, preceded him in death in January of 2005.
Survivors include his father, Ben Hanak of Burleson; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Hanak of West; aunts, Shirley Nelson of Spring Branch, Ruby Douglass of Houston; and Debbie Lackey and husband Dan of Grand Prairie; cousins, Lisa Wood, William Scott Nelson, Lauren Keck and her husband Dan, Meredith Douglas, Diana Lackey, Collin Lackey, Calista Lackey, and Alec Lackey; 2nd cousin, Aidan Keck; and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
