John E. Bridgeford

John E. Bridgeford, age 63, of Granbury, passed away late Thursday night, March 7, 2013, the result of an automobile accident near Mineral Wells. Memorial services may be held at a later date. Mr. Bridgeford was born August 10, 1949 in Norman, Oklahoma, the son of Earl O. Bridgeford and Margie Ogle. In September of 1976 he was united in marriage to Deborah Jane Nichols in Dallas. John served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was discharged at the rank of Sergeant (E5) in 1995. He also worked for the Veterans Administration. John is preceded in death by his father, Earl Bridgeford; mother, Margie Gritts; a son, Beau Bridgeford; and a sister, Marie. Survivors include his beloved wife of 36 years, Deborah Bridgeford of Granbury; a daughter, Morgin Bridgeford of Weatherford; a son, Noman Dodson of Hurst; a brother, Bob Bridgeford; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
