Jerry Wayne Tunmire

Jerry Tunmire, age 41, of Gholson, passed away peacefully late Thursday evening, June 18, 2020 at his residence. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Jerry was born February 7, 1979 in Waco, the son of Wayne and Debbie Tunmire. He attended La Vega schools during his childhood. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. Jerry enjoyed motorcycles, auto racing, boating, camping and anything outdoors. He especially loved spending time with family. Survivors include his parents, Debbie and Wayne Tunmire; his beloved children, Cheyenne Tunmire and Trevor Tunmire, both of Gholson; a brother, James Tunmire; sisters, Deborah Avants and husband Jeremy, Jessica Higgins and husband Jason; and a grandmother, Annis Allison. Jerry was loved by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aderhold Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
