Jerry Sheridan

Jerry Sheridan, age 79, of Speegleville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 1, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Jerry was born March 6, 1944 in Stephenville, the son of Thomas and Ozela (Price) Sheridan. He attended schools in Comanche, Stephehville, and  Gatesville. On October 28, 2000, he was united in marriage to Linda Charanza in McGregor. Jerry proudly served his country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for M & M Mars in Waco for 25 years before retiring in 2000. Jerry enjoyed riding his motorcycles, fishing, being outdoors, and working on old tractors and cars. He loved spending time with his family.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Carolyn Simons and Virginia Busocker.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 23 years, Linda Sheridan of Speegleville; a daughter, Candice Lynch; a step daughter, Lyn Slovak and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Karoline Lynch, Torri Daughabaugh and husband Chris, and Zak Slovak and wife Kim; a great-granddaughter, Riverley Daughabaugh; a great-grandson on the way, Rainer Daughabaugh; brothers-in-law, Dale Simons and Donald Busocker; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the  American Cancer Society.
