Jerry Brown

Jerry Brown, age 59, of Elm Mott, passed away Friday morning, July 17, 2020 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Gerald Cemetery near Leroy, with Rev. Greg Moore officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Jerry was born April 25, 1961 in Waco, the son of Francis and Emma (Laubert) Brown. He attended grade school in Tours and was a 1979 graduate (possibly the best graduating class ever) of West High School. On July 16, 2016 he was united in marriage to Treva Casey in Cottonwood. Jerry was a member of Top Hand Cowboy Church in Valley Mills and took great pleasure in studying the Bible. He worked in construction for several area contractors and was known as a jack of all trades. Jerry loved to dance, especially the polka with his polka family. Being with his grandchildren and spending time with family was the most important thing to him. He also enjoyed sitting on the porch, having a drink, and telling stories. He was a very organized person and could be "just a little" particular. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Brown; and a brother-in-law, Kenny Lenart. Survivors include his beloved wife of four years, Treva Brown of Elm Mott; his children, Corina Gail Deemer and husband Ryan of Robinson, Travis Shelby Brown of Elm Mott, and Tana Raechelle Brown of West; his sisters, Doris Hessel and husband Robert, Janice Hromadka and husband Raymond, and Sharon Lenart; his brothers, Robert Brown and wife Elaine, Larry Brown and wife Bernice, Kenneth Brown and wife Vicki, and Kevin Brown and wife Sandy; his grandchildren, Geri LeeAnn, Rylynn Denise, Abbie Rae and Kole Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice Place.
