Jeremy Todd LeDane, age 31, of West, passed away late Saturday morning, November 16, 2013 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of West, with Dr. John Crowder and Bruce Huffhines officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Jeremy was born August 19, 1982 in Sherman, the son of Scott and Holly LeDane. He was a 2001 graduate of Pilot Point High School, where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He went on to play football for Tarleton State University. He met Crystal Jernigan in 2004 and they later were married at The Leroy Church. They started a family and have two beautiful girls together, Jailey Ann LeDane, age 10, and Kylee Mari LeDane, age 8. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing golf with his buddies at Battle Lake Golf Course and always had a smile on his face. He especially loved spending time with his daughters, watching them play softball, basketball and just teaching them the love of the game. Jeremy was a great husband, dad, son, brother, friend and neighbor, and always did everything he could for others. He was the owner and operator of LPI Services and Pest Control. He will greatly be missed but never forgotten. Survivors include his beloved wife, Crystal; his daughters, Jailey and Kylee LeDane; his parents, Scott and Holly LeDane; sisters, Shacy LeDane and Karli LeDane; niece and nephew, Hope and Jaxon; grandparents, Wendell and Carol McFarlin and Dan and Faye LeDane; his parents-in-law, Dean and Jeannette Jernigan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Teresa Jernigan, Brett Jernigan, and Corey and Amanda Jernigan; his dog, Macy Moo; and many other relatives and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Roberson, Jason Graham, Cody Osbourne, Chris Osbourne, Aron Cameron, Dajon Williams, Jon Cameron, Dan Cameron, David Putney, Marshall Perry, Curtis Pogue, Kyle Howard, his entire Battle Lake Golf Course Family and the Pilot Point Bearcats Class of 2001. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Memorial Fund for his family.
