Jeanne was born September 27, 1938 in Tours, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Schroeder) Wolf. She spent her formative years attending schools in Tours and West. On May 11, 1955, she married her cherished husband, Eugene Roznos, in West. Jeanne was heartbroken when Eugene preceded her in death on June 11, 2021, but their love story continued to inspire all who knew them. A faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Jeanne found joy in her spiritual community. She sang in the PTC Choir and actively participated in various organizations, including SPJST Lodge #6, St. Anne's Altar Society, KJZT St. Ludmila Society #11, KJT Society #31, and the Catholic Daughters of America Court #829, where she served as Regent and attended many conventions. Her commitment to service was a testament to her caring spirit. Jeanne was a dedicated employee for K-Mart in Arlington for over 26 years, though her most treasured role was that of a loving mother and homemaker. She filled her home with warmth, laughter, and a creative spirit-building puzzles, playing bingo, working in her yard, and sewing clothes for her children in their youth. Jeanne was an avid Texas Rangers fan. Family was Jeanne's greatest joy and she relished in every moment spent attending their games and activities.
Jeanne is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carla Lathern and her husband Gary; a son, Eugene "Gene" Roznos; brothers, Joe and Tommy Wolf; a granddaughter, Kendra Matus; and a great grandson, Kannon Harold.
Survivors include her children, Donna Hykel and husband Larry, Susan Matus and Pat Mynar, Linda Henry and husband Bill, all of West, Steven Roznos and wife Cathy, of Waco, and Kevin Roznos and wife Tamara, of China Spring; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Roznos; her grandchildren, Justin Hykel and wife Cristy, Lacey Hykel, Tyler Hykel and wife Elizabeth, Kristi Rizo and husband Chad, Kelli Grochoske and husband Jason, Matthew Matus and wife Christi, Suzanne Matus, Bradley Mills, Seth Henry and wife Erica, Carley Matus, Keaton Matus, Amanda Roznos, Alyssa Roznos, Rebecca Roznos, Brandon Roznos, Nick Roznos and wife Katie, Spencer Roznos and wife Addason, Rhett Roznos and wife McKenna, and Reid Roznos; her great grandchildren, Reigan, Gage, Abigale, Hunter, Emma, Elle, Logan, Gigi, Hudson, Eli, Clementine, Kendra, Patton, Brooklyn, Reagan, Jackson, Axel, and Baker; her siblings, Floyd Wolf and wife Irene, Robert "Bob" Wolf and wife Marcella, Patsy Rydel, Pat Wolf, William "Bill" Wolf and wife DeeDee; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Wolf; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
