Jeana Monthie Lichnovsky, age 43, of West, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 4, 2007 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Pastor Steven Irwin officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Grove Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Jeana was born August 31, 1963 in Waco the daughter of Odell W. and Hazel (Winkle) Monthie. She attended schools in West until moving to Sulphur Springs in 1980 after her mother passed away. In 1981 she graduated from Sulphur Springs High School and went on to attend East Texas State University. Jeana was an insurance salesperson for many years. On July 11, 1995 she was united in marriage to Gary W. Lichnovsky in West. She enjoyed shopping, collecting things, and being a housewife. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West. Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Gary W. Lichnovsky; two daughters, Sheridan Hicks and Kaitlyn Hicks, both of Anna; a brother, Odell Monthie, Jr. and wife Tena of Springtown; a sister, Doris Monthie-Kemp and husband, Michael of Mansfield; two half sisters, Kimberly Bailey and husband Melvin of Irving and Holly Rabito and husband Tony of Houston; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
