Jean Grellhesl

Jean Grellhesl, age 78, of West, passed away Thursday evening, December 8, 2016 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Mary's Cemetery, with Minister Dannie Archie officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Jean was born March 17, 1938 in Waco, the daughter of Calvin Bradbury and Edna (Hudgens) Miller. She attended schools in Waco and West. On November 26, 1955 she was united in marriage to Jimmy J. Grellhesl in West, Jimmy preceded her in death on October 20, 2002. Jean was a homemaker, seamstress and worked for West Rest Haven for several years. She was a member of the Tokio Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, attending garage sales, collecting precious rocks and taking care of her cats and dogs. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jean is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leonard Bradburry, J.B. Bradburry and Bill Bradburry; sisters, Wilma Maler and Doris Schronk; and a step sister, Linda Gibson. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Zimmerman of West, Joyce Blanchard and husband Peanut of Gatesville and Donna Stone and husband, Alan of Chilton; a brother, Curtis Bradburry and wife Florence; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Hinson husband Jimmy; step sister, Jo Ann Chesser; grandchildren, Kayla Castaneda and husband Nick, Stephen Zimmerman, Shanna Zimmerman, Jennifer Terry and husband Adam, Michael Hodde, Chad Gray and wife Ladawn, Andy Blanchard and wife Jolie and Seth Blanchard; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Honorary pallbearers are all her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
