Jason Scott Kinnas

Jason Scott Kinnas, age 28, of Waco, passed away early Monday morning, April 11, 2022 at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital.

A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Aquilla, with Dr. John Crowder officiating.  The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel.

Jason was born September 16, 1993 in Waco, the son of James and Paula (Holecek) Kinnas.  He attended school in Axtell.  He worked for Bo Goldsmith Construction for 15 years.  Jason enjoyed wood-working, building things, hunting, watching classic movies, and listening to classic rock.  He loved spending time with family, especially his cousins.

Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Holecek, and paternal grandparents, Constantine and Joy Kinnas.

Survivors include his father, James Kinnas of Rockledge, FL; mother, Paula Kinnas of Waco; brother, Christopher Kinnas of Waco; maternal grandmother, Mollie Holecek; uncle, Stephen S. Holecek and wife Melody of Riesel; cousins, Holly Holecek, Zack Holecek, Kimberly Hedstrom, and Molly Hedstrom; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Ambulance Association or Waco Humane Society.
