Jason Kelly Williams, age 39, of Honolulu, HI, passed away July 23, 2012 in Honolulu. Private Memorial Graveside Services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery near West, with Rev. Ed Karasek officiating. Jason was born December 3, 1972 in Waco, the son of Larry M. and Monica (Soukup) Williams. He grew up in the Dallas area and attended schools in DeSoto and Lancaster. Jason served 3 years with the United States Army in the Air Borne and Infantry Divisions. He earned an Associates Degree in Business from Temple Junior College prior to attending the University of Texas in Arlington. Jason was self employed. In his own words, he was a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none. He was a free spirit that loved to travel. He made his home wherever the wild winds blew him. Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe E. and Stasia Soukup and Lawrence J. Williams; two uncles, Ed and Sam Soukup; and an aunt, Freida Burton. Survivors include his parents, Monica and John May of Lancaster and Larry M. Williams and Michele Trieb of Houston; grandmother, Bea Williams of Clifton; a step-brother, Joshua May; step-sisters, Erin Trieb and Emily Terwelpa and husband Tyler; and many other relatives and friends.
