Janet N. Kroll

Janet N. Kroll, age 67, of West, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007 in West. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead, with Rev. Walter Albers and Rev. Joel Boesche officiating. Burial will follow at Riesel Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Kroll was born July 7, 1939 in Los Angeles, California. She attended schools in Los Angeles and was a 1958 graduate of Dorsey Miller High School. She served her country with the United States Air Force during peacetime, stationed at James Connally Air Force Base in Waco. On September 19, 1959 she was united in marriage to Louis Otto Kroll in Waco. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1986. Janet was a homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed reading, taking pictures, collecting, fishing, hunting, and camping. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Janet was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead. Janet is also preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Mildred Sutterfield, who passed away June 10, 2001. Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Kroll and wife Fran of West, Gene Kroll and wife Susan of Burk-Burnett, and Earl Kroll and wife Mary of Kerrville; two daughters, Sherri Hutchins and husband Mike of Lacy Lakeview and Cynthia Montgomery and husband Ricky of Chalk Bluff; one brother, Sam Nelson of Los Angeles, CA; eighteen grandchildren, Brad, Dee Dee, Jason, Brian, Kevin, David, Jason, Bethany, Mikaela, Richard, Karen, Evan, Robbi, Brian, Scott, Casandra, Michael, and Geoffrey; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers are David Kroll, Jason Kroll, Brad Kroll, Jason Khoury, Brian Khoury, Kevin Khoury, Michael Sutterfield, Evan Hutchins, and Robbi Hutchins. Memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association, St. Paul Lutheran Church, or to the charity of your choice.
