Jane T. Boley

Jane T. Boley, age 82, of Abbott, formerly of Arlington, passed away early Saturday morning, April 18, 2015 at St. Catherine's Center in Waco. As per Jane's wishes, only private family remembrances will be held. Jane was born June 7, 1932 in Oak Park, IL the daughter of Harry W. and Mary (Gregory) Treleaven. She attended schools in Oak Park and was a 1947 graduate of Oak Park High School. She went on to receive a degree in Art History from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 1958. On December 28, 1960 she was united in marriage to Robert B. "Bob" Boley. After marriage in Illinois, they lived in Columbus, Ohio for three years while Bob obtained his doctorate. They moved to Stephenville, Texas in 1963 then on to Arlington, where Jane was an archivist for the University of Texas at Arlington for 28 years, before retiring in 1998. She enjoyed reading, traveling and visiting with close friends. Jane is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Harry Treleaven Jr., Gregory W. Treleaven and Phillips A. Treleaven. Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years, Bob Boley of Abbott; a daughter, Mairi Kaska and husband George of Abbott; grandchildren, Kyle Kaska and Natalie Kaska; a very special friend, Jacquie Nguyen DDS and other close friends and relatives.
