Jane Reddell, age 71, of West, passed away early Sunday afternoon, December 17, 2006 at her residence. A rosary will be recited 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West by Janice Kaluza, followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cemetery near West with Rev. Anthony Odiong officiating. Jane was born on August 4, 1935 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Levi Taylor and Christine Julia (Kyselka) Wyninger. She grew up in Ft. Worth and graduated from Birdville High School. She went on to attend Texas Christian University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and graduated in 1957 with a degree in Journalism. She worked in advertising until she became the first publicity director for Casa Manana Theater in Ft. Worth, Texas when it was formed in 1958. Jane was very active with the Fort Worth Community Theater and appeared in many productions at the Sylvania Playhouse and later at the Scott Theater. She worked with the Mark Taper Theater doing historical research in their costume department. One of Jane's loves was Little Theater in Glendale, California, Ft. Worth, Texas and Berkeley, California. She did professional voice over work and dinner theater. Her last venture was Lady Jane Creations in West. She later obtained her Masters Degree in Education and taught in her own former high school, as well as schools in Arizona and California. She also was a Drama Teacher at Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas and a teacher at the Pima Indian Reservation in Scottsdale, Arizona. She also owned a business in Berkeley called "Indoor Sunshine". She was an executive secretary at Alameda Federal Bank in Glendale, California, a costumer at Theater Center Group in Los Angeles, and an account executive with William E. Jary Advertising Agency. Jane later returned to Texas to join her mother in West and was very active in the business and community affairs of that town. She will truly be missed by many and dearly loved her cats and friends. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Catholic Daughters of America Society No. 829 and the Czech Heritage Society. Survivors include her mother, Christine Wyninger of West; one brother, David Wyninger and wife Sandra of Pasadena, California; two nieces, Payton Choate and husband Charlie and Shari Gantbein and husband David; one nephew, Jason Spakes and wife Rebecca; one great niece, Lauren Choate; one great-great nephew, Layton Reeve; her cats, Niles and Michael and several other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends or the American Red Cross. The family would like to thank Hillcrest Community Hospice for their loving care and support to Jane and her family during the time of her illness.
