Jane Hall

Jane Hall, age 89, of Waco, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at West Rest Haven. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Friday, December 20, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Zach Johnigan officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery in Ross. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Jane was born August 18, 1930 in Killeen, the daughter of Eugene and Beatrice (McVey) Barrington. She attended schools in East Waco. On May 13, 1972 she was united in marriage to Doyle Hall in Tomball. Doyle preceded her in death on January 6, 1989. Jane worked for the school systems for several years and was a caregiver for many people. She enjoyed coloring pictures, playing bingo and games, dancing, and traveling. Jane especially loved spending time with family and friends. She was a faithful member of Chalk Bluff Baptist Church. Jane is also preceded in death by her parents; the father of her sons, Alvin Gauer; a son, Benny Joe Gauer; her brothers, Gordon Barrington and Louis Barrington; a sister, Retta Jo Grant; and grandsons, Joseph Gauer and Kevin Gauer. Survivors include her son Billy Ray Gauer and wife Vicky of Kennard; daughter-in-law, Jeane Gauer of Waco; sister, Gail Poe; seven grandchildren, Benny Joe Gauer Jr. and wife Tracy, Sonya Gauer, Samuel Gauer, Ken Ray Gauer, Dustin Gauer, Tamara Latham and husband Martin, and Christopher Morgan; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Benny Joe Gauer Jr., Samuel Gauer, Brian Owen, Ken Ray Gauer, Dustin Gauer and Roland Alford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chalk Bluff Baptist Church or West Rest Haven Disaster Relief Fund.
