Jana Green Mcelyea

Jana Lee (Green) McElyea, age 36, of West, passed away late Monday evening, July 3, 2017 in Bellmead, from injuries sustained in an auto pedestrian accident. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Jana was born on March 7, 1981, the daughter of James Green Jr. and Ada (Williams) Green. She graduated from West High School in 2000 and then attended McLennan Community College. In August of 2011, she was united in marriage to Leon McElyea in Whitney. Jana owned and operated Glitter Done Furniture Refurbishing which she was truly passionate about. She enjoyed painting, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Jana was loved by too many to count. She was a member of Tokio Baptist Church. Jana is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dee and James Green Sr. and maternal grandfather, Farris Williams Sr. Survivors include her husband, Leon McElyea; daughter, Zaylee Webb; twin sons, Jadyn and Jordyn Kutscherousky; mother, Ada Green; father, James Green Jr.; maternal grandmother, Patsy Williams; sisters, Keri Green and Alex Green; nephews and niece, Aydin, Kazen and Addi; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund at Pointwest Bank for Jana's daughter, Zaylee Webb.
