James F. Richardson, age 69, of Waco, passed away early Sunday evening, November 6, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Darrell Phillips officiating. Military Honors will follow conducted by the West Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Richardson was born March 24, 1942 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Marshall Leroy and Alice Louise (Love) Richardson. He attended schools in Alexis, IL and graduated from Alexis High School. He proudly served his country with the United States Air Force. On September 24, 1983 he was united in marriage to Sharon Busby in Grapevine. James worked as a nationwide truck driver and also worked for Central Texas Frame and Alignment in Elm Mott for over 12 years before retiring in 1998. He enjoyed the outdoors and mowing his lawn. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his beloved wife of 28 years, Sharon Richardson of Waco; a daughter, Mary Lynn Rice and husband John; two step-daughters, Tonia McGaughy and husband Clarence and Kimberly Moffett; a brother, Marshall "Bud" Richardson and wife Carolyn; two sisters, Cherry Richardson and Ruth Ann Baughman; grandchildren, Angela and husband Donny, Kayla, Shelby, Joshua, Destiny and Owen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
