James Beheler

James C. Beheler, age 74, of Elm Mott, passed away early Monday morning, December 5, 2022 at Lakeshore Village in Waco.

Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at White Rock Cemetery near Ross, with Deacon Joe Gonzalez officiating. Military graveside rites will follow, conducted by West Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.

James was born July 27, 1948 in Waco, the son of Edward "Boots" and Hattie (Heine) Beheler. He attended Connally schools and was a 1966 graduate of Connally High School. James proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Downing Brothers Construction and was an accountant for Mars Wrigley Confectionery in Waco for over 40 years. He was a volunteer for the Elm Mott Water Office. James enjoyed riding his motorcycles and tending to his horses and cattle. He loved spending time with his family and never missed one of his grandsons' sporting events.

James is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Beheler.

Survivors include his sons, Scott Beheler and wife Janie of Elm Mott and Darrin Beheler of Arlington; two grandsons, Tristan and Tracen; a sister-in-law, Sherry Beheler; a nephew, Brad Beheler and wife JoAnn; a niece, Kim Rankin and husband Russ; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Scholarship Fund for his grandson, Tracen.
