Ilan I. Opella

Ilan I. Opella, a lifelong resident of Ft. Worth and a former World War II veteran, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Arlington. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Paul Hudson as celebrant. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, conducted by the West Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Opella was born July 16, 1924 in West the son of I.F. and Sophie (Hutyra) Opella.
