Ida Mae Reinke, age 96, of West, passed away Monday morning, September 5, 2022, at West Rest Haven.
Funeral Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead, with Dr. Rev. Brian Hesse officiating and Joel Boesche assisting. Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Gerald Cemetery near Leroy. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.
Ida Mae was born July 24, 1926 in Nugent, the daughter of George and Ethel (Harkleroad) Hoover. She attended Irene Elementary School and was a 1944 graduate of Bynum High School. On November 8, 1945 she was united in marriage to Edwin "Ed" Reinke in Hillsboro. Ed preceded her in death on January 7, 2005. Ida Mae was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead. She was a homemaker for many years. Ida Mae enjoyed shopping, getting dressed up, wearing her jewelry and cooking. She loved spending time with her family.
Ida Mae is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John T. Hoover, George Hoover, and Herbert "Hub" Hoover; sisters, Sleita Harr and Minnie Miller; and a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Reinke.
Survivors include her children, Judy Pratka and husband Alton of West, Lynn Reinke and wife Cyndi of Penelope, Bobby Reinke and Brian Kerr of Irving, and Danny Reinke of Waco; sisters, Wanda Hestilow and Joyce Cypert, both of Hurst; grandchildren, David Pratka and wife Jana, Candice Pavelka and husband Richard, Brandon Reinke and wife Jeanna, Zach Reinke and wife Carly, Jenny Hunt and husband Andrew, Dan Fitzgerald and wife Jen, Tracey Berlinguette and husband Luc, and Kierin Johnson and husband Brad; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers are David Pratka, Brandon Reinke, Zach Reinke, Keaton Pratka, Richard Pavelka, Andrew Hunt, Dan Fitzgerald, Brad Johnson, and Jacob Waters. Honorary pallbearers are Fred Stanley and Pastor Larry Krueger.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Rest Haven Memorial Fund.
