Helena Ryle, age 84, of Aquilla, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 3, 2010 at Park Plaza Nursing Home in Whitney. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. Burial will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery near Aquilla. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ryle was born June 26, 1925 in Holdenville, Oklahoma the daughter of Charlie C. and Pearl (Stiles) Jackson. She was raised and attended schools in Holdenville. On January 4, 1943 she was united in marriage to Boyd C. Ryle in Roswell, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2000. Helena was a homemaker and a self employed seamstress who enjoyed sewing of any kind. She was a Baptist. Her parents; a brother, Scottie Jackson; and a sister, Marie Jenkins; also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Huber and her husband Mike of Bryant, Arkansas; a son, Dusty Ryle of Aquilla; a brother, J.D. Jackson and wife Margie of Medford, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Kaleb Ryle and Brad Porter; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Loyd Nichols, Perry Horton, Billy Montgomery, Ron Breeding Jr., Ken Redden, and Edward Stapleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends or the charity of your choice.
