Helen Wolf

Helen L. (Hoeldtke) Wolf, age 88, of West, passed away Friday afternoon, September 16, 2022, at her residence in West surrounded by family.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Deacon Robin Waters and her daughter-in-law Laura Wolf, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek and Rev. John Boiko as celebrants, assisted by Deacon Robin Waters. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Helen was born August 1, 1934 in McLennan County, near Gerald, the daughter of Ervin and Lydia (Groppe) Hoeldtke. She attended West schools and was a 1951 graduate of West High School, prior to attending 4-C Business College in Waco. On August 3, 1952 she was united in marriage to Joe A. Wolf at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Joe preceded her in death on February 7, 2008. Helen was a faithful  member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was also a member of St. Anne's Altar Society. Helen was the Payroll Administrator and worked for Providence Hospital in Waco for 27 years. She showered love on all the family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was fiercely dedicated to her family and protected her nest.

Helen is also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ervin Hoeldtke; and sons-in-law, A. J. Muska, Jr. and James R. Nors.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn Muska of West, Brenda Schmidt and husband Richard of Garland, Cathy Nors of West, and Joe Wolf, Jr. and wife Laura of Mansfield; her beloved grandchildren, Jeffrey and Becky Holloman, Jennifer Holloman, Heather and Kyle Wellman, Katie and Matthew Miller, Aaron Nors and fiancee Amber Zahirniak, Joshua and Stephanie Nors, Stephanie Wolf and William Gamble, Meghan and E.J. Arzate, and Jonathan and Casey Wolf; her great-grandchildren, Abby Holloman, Ally Holloman, Audrey Holloman, Brett Holloman, Jake Wellman, Ty Wellman, Reese Wellman, Sarah Alexander, Joseph Alexander, Rachel Alexander, James Miller, Caiden Miller, Kylee Nors, Dillan Nors, Jacob Nors, Alyssa Nors, Alice Nors, Adam Nors, Izabella Gamble, Nora Gamble, and Elouise Arzate; her sister, Arlene Dieterich; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers are Jeffrey Holloman, Jennifer Holloman, Heather Wellman, Katie Miller, Aaron Nors, Joshua Nors, Stephanie Wolf, Meghan Arzate, and Jonathan Wolf. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
