Helen (Grellhesl) Levchik, age 80, of Plano, formerly of Bynum, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 18, 2013 at the Park in Plano Nursing Facility. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cemetery in West, with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Helen was born May 11, 1933 in West, the daughter of A. F. and Lena (Sulak) Grellhesl. Helen attended St. Mary's Catholic School and West High School. On June 23, 1951 the beautiful lady was united in marriage to Pete Levchik of Pennsylvania in Waco. They lived in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nebraska, and Oklahoma before retiring to Bynum in May of 1972. Pete preceded her in death on September 29, 2004. Helen was a seamstress and worked in sewing factories in Pennsylvania and West. She loved all her cats very much and all animals, in general. She enjoyed watching old movies and "Judge Judy". Helen is also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Pete Levchik Jr.; her beloved brother, Jimmy Grellhesl; her grandparents, Frank and Agnes Sulak; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her loving sister, Dorothy Hinson and her husband Jim of Plano; her beloved niece, Sherry Ann Hinson; other nieces, Pat Grellhesl, Donna Stone and her husband Allan and Joyce Blanchard and her husband "Peanut"; a granddaughter, Julie Johnson and her husband Scott of The Colony; sisters-in-law, Jean Grellhesl and Mildred Levchik; and many other relatives and friends.
