Hans Georg Ehresmann, age 49, of Waco, passed away early Sunday evening, December 2, 2007 near Waco from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Frances Nowlain officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Hans was born on October 18, 1958 in Grefraft, Germany, the son of George and Elfriede Ehresmann. He attended schools in Piramens, Germany and at the age of 17 he moved to Oklahoma then to Texas. He was "A VERY DEDICATED MAN" for PCA the last 20 years. On February 19, 2005 he was united in marriage to Mary Nell Lawson in McGregor. Hans enjoyed riding his motorcycle, mowing and doing yard work, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and he especially loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Hodges. Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Ehresmann of Waco; his Mother, Elfriede Hodges of Waco; two sons, Hans Ehresmann Jr. and wife Leslie of Lorena and Andy Starr of Hamilton; two daughters, Cindy Howard and husband Josh, and Lindsey Starr, all of Waco; a sister, Amy Waltisperger and husband Robert of Elm Mott; four grandchildren, Tristan, Brenton, Levi, and Tripp, with one more on the way; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers are Josh Howard, Jerry Chestnut, Robert Beloat, Billy Humphries, Barney T. King II, and J. P. Wise. Memorials may be made to the Sunny Day Center, 2714 Old Dallas Rd., Waco, TX 76705.
