Hana Marek Jackson, age 84, of West, passed away late Saturday night, October 31, 2020 at West Rest Haven in West. Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at West Brethren Cemetery in West, with Chaplain Dennis Camp officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services. Hana was born November 18, 1935 in Bohusovice, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Bohumil and Anna (Fabian) Zivec. She was united in marriage to Larry Jackson and Larry preceded her in death. Hana worked for Marathon Battery in Waco for over 20 years. She also worked for West Rest Haven, Wolf Manufacturing and cared for many babies and toddlers. Hana enjoyed playing Bingo, watching old movies and watching her sons play with various local bands. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Hana is also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Donald Ray "Doc" Marek and Jeffrey Michael Marek; a brother, Pete Zivec; and an infant sister, Libby Zivec. Survivors include her children, Robert "Bert" Marek and girlfriend Becky Miciotto of Lewisville, Lisa Click and husband Paul of Savannah, GA, Nadine Johnson and husband Randy of Moody, Michael Marek of Dayton and Garry Marek of West; grandchildren, Joey Marek, Mandy Tekubie, Jeffrey Hernandez, Victoria Webb and husband Justin Walker, David Monthie and wife Priscilla, Nicole Gregory, Corey Armstrong, Misty Janek, Dylan Lee and girlfriend Micah, Kenna Bettge and husband Kevin, Kandis Marek, Chaz Marek, Collin Marek, Garret Marek and Taylor Marek; great grandchildren, Spencer, Lance, Summer, Lexi, Brayden, Evan, Kailani, Lucas, Terry, Alyssa, Lily-Ann, Kane, Kylee, Brendon, Cameron, Cody, and Karaline; two brothers, Bob Zivec and Jerry Zivec; a sister, Eva Sehnal; the father of her children, Frankie Marek; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or West Brethren Cemetery.
