Glen Keel

Glen Allen Keel Jr., age 63, of West, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Birdston Cemetery near Streetman.

Glen was born April 17, 1961 in Waco, the son of the late Irma (Gaylor) Jones and Glen Keel Sr. He attended LaVega High School prior to taking Biblical Studies courses at Grand Canyon University. Glen enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing golf, cooking, and especially playing sports video games with his son. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and the Baylor Bears.

Survivors include his son, Glen "Trey" Keel and wife Sarah of Port Neches; best friend, Toni Shepherd of Riesel; his daughter, Lindsey Wright and husband Jason of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Dreydan, Ava, Leland, Presley, and Autumn "AG"; sisters, Debbie Savoie and Elaine King and husband Sam; a brother, Daron Keel and wife Jennifer; his cousins, Denny Russell and wife Melinda, Grady Butler, and Kristi Butler; nephews and a niece, Sam King Jr., Joe King, Kayla King, Cameron Savoie, Brendon Keel, Jase Keel, Chance Keel, and Zoe Keel; good friend, Rick Dellere; and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aderhold Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
