Gerald W. Roehrs

Gerald W. Roehrs, age 73, of West, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005 in West. Mr. Roehrs was born on August 27, 1932, the only child of Roy and Fern Viola (Appel) Roehrs. He graduated from Fremont High School in Nebraska and served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Mr. Roehrs was a water superintendent for the Department of Utilities in Fremont, Nebraska for over 20 years until his retirement. He was a Methodist. His wife, Ingrid Roehrs and parents all preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Mike Roehrs of Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska; his daughter Cindy Hayes and husband Thomas of West; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many other relatives.
